Evidence, interpretation, speculation
We intend to label these separately. A historical document can be evidence that someone made a statement; it is not automatically evidence that the statement was true. We will make room for uncertainty and alternative explanations.
Sources that you can inspect
Published episodes will include source notes and relevant links. When a primary source is unavailable, that limitation should be clear. A theory will not be presented as established fact solely because it is popular or dramatic.
People, power and allegations
Scrutiny of leaders and institutions is part of the project. Unsupported accusations about real people are not a substitute for evidence. The masks are an artistic and privacy choice, not a claim to insider access.
Religion and folklore
We will distinguish Islamic texts, scholarly interpretations, local traditions and modern internet theories. We do not present Muslims, or any religious community, as a monolithic group or a hidden threat.
Corrections and disclosures
Material corrections will appear alongside the affected episode. Sponsorship, paid relationships and synthetic media will be identified where relevant. This site's masked portrait is generated concept artwork. There are no released episodes or sponsors to list yet.
Viewer choice
The project is intended for mature audiences and may discuss disturbing ideas. The website contains no gore or automatic jump scares. Ambient sound is optional. Reduced motion is available throughout the site.
