No advertising or analytics cookies
This site's own code does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or embedded media. Hosting and private-preview authentication are separate services and may use their own essential storage.
Optional preference storage
We use browser local storage only if you switch on “Remember my preferences.” The key hidden-pair-preferences-v1 stores the motion setting, notice acknowledgement, consent choice and an expiry timestamp. It expires after 180 days and is deleted on your next visit after expiry. Local storage is similar to cookies but is not automatically sent with every web request.
When you decline
You can use the full website with this option off. Your choices then last only while the current page remains open. Audio always starts off, even when preferences are saved.
Change your choice
Disabling preference storage immediately deletes the site's saved record. You can also clear site data through your browser. These controls cannot remove storage set by the separate hosting or sign-in service, YouTube, or the FormSubmit spam-check page opened when sending a theory.
Future changes
If analytics, embeds or other optional technologies are added later, their details and any necessary choices must be introduced before they load.
